2008 Ford F150 Ltd edition Foose
Foose is the name of the designer that has styled this very limited USA only
F150 truck.
The number set out by Ford is 500.
Not a practical truck by any means, firstly you notice that it is
lowered and secondly it has 22 inch wheels. Just cant see it crossing the
Simpson desert or the gun barrel highway.
But I can see it on the sunny Gold coast towing a sleek 22 ft power cruiser
ready to launch into the surf all that would be missing would be the page two
bikini models.
Back to reality it is just beautiful. Interior state of the art development
and style, The characteristic Foose racing strips that run the full length of
the vehicle that thin to the front fenders and widen to the tailgate.
In American speak its what you cant see that gives me the reaction only
few thing can ,
The 450 HP*( That's Horse power) supercharged V8 triton engine drinks fuel
like a thirsty jackaroo (that's the Australian for cowboy etc) but will work all
day. ( 500 ft. lbs. of torque.
I must add that I believe this is not the most powerful F150 that has been
produced although I must check on the specs from the 2004 Ford SVT
lightning.
For you people in the USA enjoy your new toys for us down under we can just
sit back and one day hope to see one in the flesh.
Personally I would have a better chance of becoming Russell Crowes long lost
twin.
