Ford F150 60th Anniversary
Its the 60th anniversary and here is the F150 anniversary model.
Compared to the
FX2 and the
Foose this is more a features vehicle. Only 4x2 with a 4.6L and Automatic trans expect in the USA to pay $30,175 (thats about $32000 AUD). The impressiveness is in the detail like the captains chairs with accent stitching in a sports cloth. Power drivers seat too. Nice wheels a 20" highly polished aluminium with matching centre caps 60 th anniversary of course. Tubular 5" running boards and chrome exhaust tip. I would like to see the large bars in the back and a good Aussie bull bar on the front. The instrument cluster is unique especially for this model. Nice to see safety items listed for this F150 those being dual stage airbags for driver and passenger, Safety belt pre tenshioners, energy management retractors on outside front positions. 3 point restraints for rear passengers, 4 wheel discs with ABS and anti theft ignition system.
Interior wise there is a lot of noise over the obvious by Ford e.g cup holders Tilt steering wheel , interval wipers and just stuff that well I think should just be there . But in the true sense of marketing Ford like to bring out the best in all their ltd edition F150 models. Check out the FX2 I still think that's been the best limited edition F150 in the last 2 years.
